Ride Like a Girl
A place for mentorship, community connection, and opportunities to grow for young female mountain bike athletes in British Columbia.
This is us.
Ride Like a Girl is a BC-based not-for-profit program that offers young female mountain bike athletes mentorship, community connection, and growth opportunities. We do this by carefully matching mentees with outstanding and experienced mentors, organizing community events, and fostering healthy relationships among program participants.
Throughout each season, we host in person skills clinics and online mentor chats with the help of our Ambassadors, Mentors and Board members. These are open to all RLG athletes.
“I get to give back to the sport I love and build rapport with the next generation of leaders and champions, and they get to hopefully learn from my experiences. Plus, we get to ride bikes together, which is always fun!”
— Sandra Walter, RLG Mentor and World Cup cross-country mtb racer
